Premium Singapore Supplier Offering Champagne Gift Delivery

Nothing says sophisticated celebration in quite the way that an effervescent glass of bubbles does. Whether your preference is for sweet, fruity flavoured champagne to drink with dessert or a well-balanced brut to toast with once the clock strikes midnight, World Wine Vault offer a premium range of some of the world’s most sought after champagnes which are available for delivery throughout Singapore.

Unlike many liquor suppliers, World Wine Vault stocks authentic champagne from the prestigious Champagne region in France. Only the superior sparkling wines from these regions are entitled to be termed ‘champagne’ and it’s well worth investing in the real thing, as authentic wines from this region are nothing short of extraordinary. The high quality of wine from this region is due to the combination of limestone chalk soil and cool climate which is unique to this part of the world. The grapes that grow in this region are perfectly balanced in terms of acidity, extract, and richness.

We stock some of the premier brands from the Champagne region including Perrier Jouët. Krug, Moet & Chandon, Louis Roederer, Mumm, Bollinger, Tattinger, Piper-Heidsieck and Salon. All of our brands are available for gift delivery throughout Singapore.

A short guide on how to buy champagne

If you’re going to invest in a bottle of authentic champagne either to drink or give as a gift, it’s well worth knowing what you’re buying. Below is a short list of the common terms you’ll notice accompanying champagne, and how each can help you make a more informed decision about what to buy and drink.

Brut: This is indicative of a dry champagne with no added sweetness. Prior to the mid-19th century, champagne was almost exclusively produced to be sweet and consumed as a dessert wine. Brut is now the more common variety.

Blanc de Blanc: This indicates that the wine is made exclusively form chardonnay grapes. Blanc de blanc is known as the lightest champagne and are ideal to drink as an aperitif.

Vintage:  This is where a wine is produced from the harvest from a singular year. This is quite a rare quality for wines from the Champagne region which are generally blends of more than one harvest and known as non-vintage (NV).

Grand Cru: This is the best of the best. Champagne houses have premium vineyards which they make grand cru from and typically this is the most expensive variety.
